                 I had a little brother
                 And his name was Zach.
                 He could dream forever;
                 Nothing could hold him back.
                 
                 He could sing with no flaw,
                 And he loved to talk;
                 He loved all the little things
                 That I used to mock.
                 
                 Zach was fun-loving and smart;
                 The smartest boy on Earth.
                 He was only a child, but still
                 I never ignored his worth.
                 
                 He could do everything I couldn't,
                 Like speaking up for himself.
                 He got straight A's and cleaned his room;
                 The opposite of myself.

                 Zach's not with us anymore.
                 Actually, though it's hard to see,
                 I never had a little brother at all-
                 Zach's who I used to be.
